UPI was India's digital base, AI to be next: Microsoft exec Parekh

Microsoft's Executive Vice President of CoreAI, Jay Parekh, praised India's digital growth, saying, "UPI was the foundation...AI could be the next layer." He noted the country has the world's largest developer community on GitHub with 27 million developers. Parekh added that the next phase of AI competition will belong to nations capable of deploying the technology at scale with trust.
