UPL announces group rejig to create focused crop protection firm

Mumbai-based UPL announced a restructuring plan to consolidate its India and international crop protection businesses into a dedicated platform called UPL Global. Reports suggest the transaction aims to unlock value and enhance synergies, with the new entity set to be listed on stock exchanges. This reorganisation is expected to be completed within 12 to 15 months.
