UPL net profit rises 18% to ₹1,061 crore in March quarter

Agrochemicals firm UPL Limited reported an 18% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹1,061 crore for the March quarter. Revenue from operations grew 17.7% to ₹18,335 crore, supported by strong volume growth and favourable foreign exchange movements. The board recommended a 300% dividend of ₹6 per share, after which the stock rose about 4.7%.
