UPSC Chairman Manoj Soni resigns 5 yrs before tenure ends: Reports

UPSC Chairman Manoj Soni resigned due to personal reasons almost five years before his tenure was supposed to end, reports said on Saturday. "His resignation is not in any way connected to controversies and allegations surrounding the UPSC after probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar issue came to the fore," PTI reported citing sources. His resignation is yet to be accepted.
