UPSC chairman, members take 30% pay cut for 1 year

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday announced that its chairman and members have decided to take a 30% cut in their basic pay for the next year. In addition to this, all officers and staff members of the Commission have volunteered to donate one-day salary to the PM-CARES Fund to support the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
