UPSC changes rules on re-attempts for already serving candidates

New UPSC rules state that a candidate appointed to IAS or IFS and continuing as a member of that service won't be eligible to appear in CSE 2026. A candidate who has been selected or appointed to IPS on basis of an earlier examination won't be eligible to opt for or be allocated IPS again on basis of CSE 2026.
