UPSC seen as a ticket to power, not just a job: Ex-IRS officer

Ravi Kapoor, a former IRS officer, explained the reason behind UPSC being treated like a golden ticket in India, in a conversation with Raj Shamani. He said, "It's not just the job. It's the jump. From middle class to power. There's no other exam that gives you that scale of transformation." He further warned that with power comes pressure.
