Ursid meteor shower to peak overnight from Dec 21-22
The Ursid meteor shower, the year's final celestial display, will peak overnight from December 21 to December 22, with up to 10 meteors per hour. Best viewed before dawn, the meteors will appear to originate from the Ursa Minor constellation, also known as the Little Dipper. The shower will remain active from December 17 to 26 in the Northern Hemisphere.
