Urvil Patel smashes fastest hundred by an Indian in T20 cricket history

Gujarat opener Urvil Patel on Wednesday smashed the fastest hundred by an Indian in T20 cricket. The 26-year-old reached his hundred off 28 deliveries against Tripura in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match to set the record. He broke the previous record held by Rishabh Pant, who slammed a 32-ball hundred for Delhi against Himachal Pradesh in 2018.
