US' ₹931-crore F-35 stealth fighter jet, world's most advanced, damaged by Iran: Report

A US F-35 stealth fighter jet was reportedly hit by suspected Iranian fire and had to make an emergency landing. The ₹931-crore fighter jet suffered damage from the hit, CNN reported. It was "flying a combat mission over Iran" when the incident happened, a US Central Command spokesman said. F-35 is said to be the world's most advanced fighter jet.
