US' Anthropic challenges K'taka court's jurisdiction in Indian firm's trademark suit

US AI firm Anthropic PBC called a trademark lawsuit by Belagavi-based Anthropic STC an "illusory" afterthought intended to harass the company and block its entry in India. It argued before a Belagavi court that it lacked jurisdiction over the case and sought return of the plea. The court has now asked Anthropic STC to file its objections.
