US' Baltimore sues Elon Musk's xAI over Grok deepfakes

US' Baltimore sued Elon Musk's xAI over Grok generating deepfakes and sexually explicit images of people, including children, becoming the largest city to do so. A local court complaint alleged that xAI is violating consumer protection law by promoting Grok as a general-purpose ​AI assistant. The city said that X has generated ​about three million realistic-looking sexualised images.
