US' most expensive drone MQ-4C Triton disappears over Strait of Hormuz

A US Navy surveillance drone, MQ-4C Triton, disappeared over the Strait of Hormuz shortly after declaring an in-flight emergency alert. MQ-4C Triton, said to be US' most expensive drone costing over $200 million (₹1,853 crore) was reportedly returning to its base in Italy after a three-hour surveillance when it declared the emergency. It was tracked rapidly losing altitude before disappearing.
