US' most lethal long-range missile worth ₹13.9 crore now positioned for an Iran strike
The US has deployed most of its long-range JASSM-ER missiles toward a potential Iran strike. The $1.5 million (around ₹13.9 crore) Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile-Extended Range can fly more than 600 miles and was designed to hit targets from a safer distance to avoid enemy air defences. The US has allocated funds to buy more than 6,200 JASSMs since 2009.
