US' most powerful union outraged as 50 cobots replace 1,000 staff

United Auto Workers (UAW), the most powerful auto union in US, has criticised General Motors after over 1,000 workers at a Detroit factory were replaced by 50 cobots. UAW Local 22 President James Cotton said, "Our manpower is being taken away from us...We're disgusted that they have cobots in our plants. They're taking away jobs from people."
