US actor Forrest Compton, 94, passes away due to coronavirus

American actor Forrest Compton, who played district attorney Mike Karr in TV series 'The Edge of Night', passed away due to coronavirus complications at the age of 94. Compton passed away on Sunday, his close friends said. Born in 1925 in Pennsylvania's Reading, the late actor had served with the 103rd Infantry Division in France during World War II.
