US adds Alibaba, Baidu, BYD to China military-linked list

The US has released an updated list of Chinese companies it says are aiding Beijing's military. The list includes e-commerce group Alibaba, Internet search provider Baidu, and automaker BYD. Many of these firms had also appeared on a version briefly published by the Pentagon in February before it was withdrawn. Other companies added include WuXi AppTec and RoboSense Technology.
