US agrees to unfreeze $6 billion of Iranian funds: Report

US has agreed to release $6 billion of Iranian frozen assets held in Qatar and other foreign banks, Reuters reported quoting a senior Iranian source. Unfreezing the assets was "directly linked to ensuring safe passage through Strait of Hormuz", which is expected to be ​a key issue in the talks, the report added. However, a US official denied the report.
