Zoho Co-founder Sridhar Vembu said Chinese open-source AI models pose threat to major AI firms' market share after Anthropic announced wider global access to its latest AI models. He, however, said, "The fact that American AI models have...competition from China is important for India." Notably, US had briefly restricted foreign access to Anthropic's advanced AI models before lifting the ban.
