US airline giving ₹26 lakh/flyer after plane crash-landed, flipped

US' Delta Airlines has promised a $30,000 (₹26 lakh) goodwill payment to all the 76 passengers, who were onboard their plane that crash-landed and flipped upside-down in Canada. The compensation totalled to $2.3 million (around ₹20 crore). Delta spokesperson Morgan Durrant reassured passengers that the financial compensation is "no strings attached and does not impact rights".
