US appeals court bans delivery of abortion medicine by mail or through pharmacy

A US appeals court temporarily halted delivery of the medication which is used in majority of abortions in the US by mail or through a pharmacy. The court’s order said that women seeking abortions anywhere in US need to obtain the medicine, mifepristone, in person from health clinics. The Food and Drug Administration originally approved mifepristone in 2000.
