US approves $16.5 billion in arms sales to 3 Gulf nations amid war

The US State Department on ​Thursday approved over $16.5 billion in arms sales to ‌three Middle Eastern countries amid the ongoing war. It includes ​the potential sale of missiles, drones, ​radar systems and F-16 munitions and ⁠upgrades to the UAE. The US also approved lower-tier air and missile defence sensor radars to ​Kuwait and aircraft and munitions support to Jordan.
