US Army shows use of Microsoft's AR headset in the field

The US Army has shared an early demo of Integrated Visual Augmentation System, which uses modified version of Microsoft's HoloLens 2 to provide combat assistance and training, with CNBC. It features thermal imaging, lets soldiers view their squad's position on map, among other things, and provides data like wearer's heart rate.
