US President Donald Trump declared America "needs" Greenland, mocking Denmark's defences and eyeing a takeover in two months after Maduro's capture. Denmark PM Frederiksen slammed it as NATO's doom. Trump has repeatedly argued that US control of Greenland is necessary for national security.
