US bans imports from 37 Chinese firms over forced labour practices

The US has banned imports from 37 more Chinese companies over allegations of forced labour and human rights abuses against the Uyghur population in China's Xinjiang, Reuters reported. The firms include mining giant Zijin Mining Group and solar companies such as a subsidiary of JA Solar Technology. The list also includes textile manufacturer Huafu Fashion and 25 of its subsidiaries.
