US bans world's largest drone manufacturer over cyber risks

US Defence Department has ordered an Army-wide ban on all consumer drones made by the world's largest drone manufacturer DJI, over "cyber vulnerabilities associated with its products". The Army has also been ordered to uninstall all DJI applications and remove all batteries and media storage devices. Notably, in the past, DJI drones were the most widely used by the Army.
