US-based software firm UKG lays off over 2,200 people

American multinational software firm UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) laid off more than 2,200 employees in its latest round of job cuts. Last month, it was reported that the company had around 15,882 employees out of them 14% were reduced (making around 2,200 employees). The company said the UKG layoffs would help it focus on key growth areas.
