US bases 'ill-equipped' to stop drone attacks: Senior NORAD commander

US bases are "ill-equipped" to counter attacks involving small drone swarms, a senior NORAD (North American Aerospace Defence Command) commander has warned. Army Lt Gen Joseph Jarrard said the US military is still developing capabilities to detect, track and defeat such threats. The military is reportedly testing several counter-drone approaches to tackle such challenges.
