US blocking Venezuela govt from paying Maduro's legal fee: Lawyer

The US is blocking the Venezuelan government from paying for ex-President Nicolas Maduro's legal representation in the drug trafficking case, said the ousted president's lawyer, Barry Pollack, in a court filing. US initially allowed the payment, but revoked permission without explanation soon, he added. Venezuelan law dictates that the government pays the President and First Lady's expenses.
