US body United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) shared two posts targeting India. "Over the last several weeks, Sikh gurudwaras in India have been targeted...US should link security assistance to India's response to violence," one post read. Social media users criticised USCIRF, calling it "Pakistani compromised clowns", saying that all perpetrators have been arrested.
