US burned through ₹50,000 cr in weapons in 48 hrs of Iran strikes

US military expended about $5.6 billion (₹50,000 crore approximately) worth of weaponry in first 48 hours of its military operations against Iran, The Washington Post reported, citing estimates presented to members of Congress. The figure has caused concerns among officials about the rapid use of US' most advanced weapons systems, which are available only in limited quantities, the report added.
