US businessman detained in Myanmar over his book on military coup
American businessman Adam Castillo, who wrote a book on living through Myanmar's military coup, was detained on his return to the country on Thursday, Reuters reported. He runs a security firm in Myanmar's Yangon and was stopped after arriving at an airport. Myanmar's military chief Min Aung Hlaing led a coup in 2021 and unseated Aung San Suu Kyi's government.
