US President Donald Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social on Friday to post, "With a little more time, we can easily open the Strait of Hormuz, take the oil and make a fortune." Trump stated that the opening of the Strait of Hormuz "would be a gusher for the world." Iran has shut the strait amid war.
