US Catholic AI priest offers Confession to users, faces criticism

US-based advocacy group Catholic Answers' AI priest, Fr Justin, has been criticised after it offered Sacrament of Confession to users. The AI priest had first said it couldn't offer the Sacrament to users. It has been renamed as 'Justin' until Catholic Answers develops an entirely new AI chatbot after social media users criticised it for acting like a real priest.
