US climber summits Mount Everest in 9 hours 55 minutes: Report
US climber Tyler Andrews has reportedly set a new record in summiting Mount Everest using supplementary oxygen, according to his team. The 36-year-old scaled the 8,849- metre peak in 9 hours and 55 minutes, his team said, breaking the previous record of 10 hours and 56 minutes held by Lhakpa Gelu Sherpa. Andrews is also a cancer survivor.
