US court blocks Trump policy sending migrants to countries they had no ties to

A US appeals court rejected Trump administration’s policy allowing authorities to deport migrants to countries with which they had no connection without giving them a chance to raise safety concerns. Over 25,000 migrants have been sent to at least 29 third countries, with Mexico among the destinations in many cases. The ruling could next go before the US Supreme Court.
