US court temporarily allows Trump to impose ban on DEI programmes

A US appeals court on Friday temporarily allowed US President Donald Trump to impose a ban on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programmes at federal agencies and businesses with government contracts. In February, a judge blocked Trump from implementing bans on DEI programmes. Trump signed the executive order directing companies in US to roll back their DEI programmes in January.
