US customer data compromised in July cybersecurity breach: Samsung

Samsung Electronics said on Friday that the personal information of some customers in the US was compromised as it suffered a cybersecurity breach in late July. The company said that customers' social security numbers and credit card numbers were not affected, however, information including name, contact and demographic details, date of birth and product registration data had been compromised.
