US Customs to stop collecting tariffs deemed illegal by US Supreme Court

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency said it will stop collecting tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) from Tuesday. This comes three days after the US Supreme Court declared certain tariffs illegal. However, CBP offered no information about potential refunds of over $175 billion in US Treasury revenue generated by IEEPA tariffs.
