US denies G7 nations exemption to access Anthropic's most powerful AI models: Report

The US won't exempt G7 nations from restrictions on Anthropic's most advanced AI models, Fable 5 and Mythos 5, The Post reported. Granting such an exemption would be "completely illogical", said a US official. UK PM Keir Starmer reportedly requested a "carve-out" for British nationals and companies after the US barred foreign nationals from accessing the models.
