US deports 167 illegal Indian migrants amid COVID-19 spread
With the US having begun deporting illegal migrants amid coronavirus outbreak, 167 Indian nationals on Tuesday landed at the Amritsar airport. Officials said the deportees will go on a mandatory 14-day quarantine. Officials added that 67 of them were from Punjab, 79 from Haryana and rest belonged to Gujarat, UP, Maharashtra, Kerala, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Goa.
