US destroyer interdicts 2 oil tankers attempting to exit Iran

A US destroyer interdicted ​two oil tankers attempting to leave Iran on Tuesday, Reuters reported, citing an official. As per the official, the ships had departed from Chabahar port on the Gulf of Oman and were contacted by the warship via radio communication. This comes after US President Donald Trump announced a blockade of Iranian ports in Strait of Hormuz.
