US doctors successfully separate 2-yr-old twins joined at head
Surgeons at a Missouri hospital successfully separated 2-year-old twin sisters who had been born conjoined at the head after a months-long series of complex operations culminating in a nearly 25-hour final procedure. Sisters Hiyab and Wuhbto are now recovering and undergoing rehabilitation and intensive care. The twin siblings travelled from their home country of Ethiopia for the surgery.
