US dollars worth ₹25 crore found in Bengaluru garbage are fake: Police

After ragpicker found US dollars worth ₹25 crore in a pile of garbage in Bengaluru, police have said that the currency notes were fake. The man had found a letter with the UN seal with the bundle of notes. The notes were examined by RBI-appointed officials who said that the notes were "photocopied or printed", police said.
