US envoy, Iran minister head to Switzerland day after planned talks were cancelled

US Envoy Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi are reportedly heading to Switzerland to begin technical negotiations after US and Iran signed a peace agreement. This comes a day after Switzerland announced the cancellation of Friday’s planned talks. Israel’s overnight strikes on Lebanon, which killed at least 16 people, were termed a violation of US-Iran deal by Iran.
