US FDA grants full approval to Moderna's Spikevax COVID-19 vaccine

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted full approval to Moderna's Spikevax COVID-19 vaccine. This comes after the vaccine was granted emergency use authorisation by FDA over a year ago. The approval is for double dose inoculation in individuals aged 18 and over, however, the booster dose will only be available under emergency use authorisation, reports stated.
