US federal agents shoot at 2 in Portland day after woman shot dead

Two people are hospitalised after being shot at by federal immigration agents in US city of Portland during a traffic stop. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the incident happened when a Venezuelan gang member "attempted to run over" agents with his car. The incident comes a day after a federal agent shot a woman dead in Minneapolis.
