US federal govt employees sue DOGE, which Trump announced to cut federal expenses

The largest union of US federal government employees sued Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which was planned by US President Donald Trump to cut federal expenditure, minutes after Trump's inauguration. Trump had appointed Elon Musk to slash billions in federal spending. The union urged the court to stop DOGE from acting as advisory committee until it complies with federal rules.
