US firm Firefly's Blue Ghost lander successfully lands on the Moon

An uncrewed spacecraft developed by Texas-based company Firefly Aerospace successfully soft-landed on the Moon at 3:34-am EST on Sunday near Mare Crisium, a vast lunar basin. The robotic lander, dubbed Blue Ghost, has become the second privately built vehicle to land on the Moon successfully. Firefly's moonshot is part of NASA’s broader Artemis program, which envisions a sustainable lunar economy.
