US firms receive $9.6 bn in tariff refunds, Apple biggest beneficiary
Major US companies are receiving billions of dollars in tariff refunds after the Supreme Court struck down a key part of President Donald Trump's tariff programme. More than 40 S&P 500 firms have disclosed about $9.6 billion in refunds, with at least $2.1 billion already received in cash. Apple is the biggest disclosed beneficiary, reporting nearly $2.2 billion in refunds.
